Good but not the bestNovember 26, 2008 This is a nice looking case, the only problem I had with this was that the inside is not painted, looks like they tried using just enough paint on the outside to make it look good. I guess it doesn't really matter once the case is snaped on to the phone but it still bugs me to see the poor quality... If you must buy this style of case, you might want to consider one called Kroo Shell, I'm not sure if they make it for the 1st Gen iPhone though.
Help - Need for 3G iPhone!August 28, 2008 I purchased this in red for the 1G and it was perfect. I need it for the new 3G, since nothing comes close to this one. Yes, it only covers the back, since that is all you really need. I have the next best thing, a slightly thicker case that provides a shield for the glass (only use for major travel - otherwise I am going without). The shield is a waste of time and can't keep it clean. The cozip is great to hold. I must have sold ten of these to friends and others who loved my case. Please make this for the 3G - I am desperate!

Snug fit but provides absolutely no front protection. My iPhone slipped off the table, skidded across the floor face down and ended up with a deep scratch. My other $2 silicon case was a better buy. I wish I had kept it on.
Exactly what I was looking for - AlmostAugust 8, 2008 I just received my iphone case. I went a long time without a case simply because I was too picky when it came to all of the cases at the apple store, etc. Before having a case I dropped my iphone on the pavement or sidewalk at least 10 times, as well as spilled water on it, and carried it around in my purses and bags and pockets. Months later - it's a bit scratched on the corners but all things considered is in pretty excellent condition. I now knew the true durability of this phone and didn't find it necessesary to load it up in heavy armor. I basically wanted something to protect the corners and provide some kind of grip on the sides, which are slippery and caused 99% of the drops - but at the same time didn't want a thick rubbery case that I would have a hard time sliding in and out of my back pocket. This case is perfect for that purpose. It's light, thin and the coating on the outside provides grip without being so rubbery. My only complaint sofar is that I feel they could have covered a bit more on the top and bottom as they did on the sides. The corners of this phone are particularly vunerable and the case really only covers about half of each corner. Though, with the grip on the sides, I can't really see myself dropping it as much anymore. Overall I'm happy with this case. It also arrived to FL from CA 3 days after I ordered it. Can't beat that.
Very Good iPhone coverJuly 15, 2008 I have been looking for a cover for the iPhone for a while and thought I'd try this one. It's very good, fits perfectly, doesn't add bulk or weight to the phone, protects the camera lens and makes the iPhone easier to handle. If I want to pick at the product, it doesn't fit in the cradle supplied with the iPhone, but it's not the end of the world. Also, I found this out today; it has a gritty feeling because the dust from the sandstorm outside. A quick wipe and it's back to normal.
