Works good.July 20, 2008 This really helped me. I didnt really want to get a Y splitter adapter; then I woulda had to figure out which ends I wanted to be male and female. This made it a lot simpler. Those that have a subwoofer with left and right jacks, u can hear the difference when using just left or right vs. something like this. So get this or a Y splitter adapter.

This is actually a Radio Shack brand cable according to the plastic box it came in. Quick delivery.
Most People will Not Need This ProductJanuary 13, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
This cable is only helpful if you have a really old receiver or subwoofer because it is the wrong type to use in modern home theater systems. I would not buy this product again and still have it in the original packaging. The manual that came with my receiver advised against using this type of cable so instead I used the cable that came with my subwoofer. However if you do need the cable it is simply a radio shack cable that was sent from a catalog electronics retailer, don't worry they will also send you a catalog.
Well worth it, even with a defectJanuary 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was an good deal at $15 for 4 delivered. I replaced 3 sub cables that were going to amps with only the left (mono)input cable in them. It increased the signal strength and gave a much more solid connection. As a matter a fact, these were not easy to push on all the way. It took so much force, I had to be careful not to break anything. I knocked down a star for this reason. Other than that, these work great! Quality-wise, these are a solid medium grade. That's a HUGE step up from your standard red/white rca connections. I tried daisy chaining cheap ones together from sub to sub and the last few wouldn't work at all. That's how I found out sub cables really do matter. I'm very happy with this purchase.
