I use this cassette recorder all the time. It is small and portable, so I can take it with me everywhere. I listen to books on tape. This is a perfect recorder to put in your pocket while you are walking, doing chores, doing yardwork, or just sitting by a fire while camping. Get lots of batteries and enjoy!

The tape recorder is exactly what I wanted and seems to operate nicely. I'm surprised that it didn't come with a plastic case. I really haven't had a chance to use it for the purpose I intended (language training and personal counseling)...I will only know this after the holidays..

I got my recorder about 3-4 months ago. So far, so good. I have used it for voice recording with good results. I also like the fact it has jacks for ac adapter, external microphone and earphones. It takes standard cassette tapes. To me that is a plus.
I do handle it with reasonable care. It is plastic, so take care of it and you will probably get good service.
