I couldn't be more happy now that I have this special gift. I read about 2 books a week and this makes my life so much better. It is the best invention ever. I am 71 years old and have some arthritis in my hands so this makes my reading easier. Thank you, Thank you for having this product. Sharon Lawson
Donna's reviewDecember 4, 2008 I love the Kindle. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is hard to hold on to without clicking some button. The next and previous page buttons need to be smaller so you can hold on to the sides of the book. Great product.
Love My KindleDecember 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I absolutely love my Kindle. It is easy to order books (maybe too easy) from Amazon and can order many differnt books and other print media from anywhere there is wireless access. Kindle's features are easy to understand and use. I like having the "next page" button on both the left and right side of the reading area. I'm looking forward to more authors offering their books on Kindle in the future. The only problem I've encountered is my daughter complaining she can't borrow my books now. Great job, Amazon.
Many advantages with KindleDecember 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! When I began to tackle clutter in my home I realized that the dozens and dozens of books were a contributing factor. The Kindle not only addresses that problem. It saves me money. The books are less expensive, even new releases. It's also good for the environment. There's no packaging for shipping and no printing. Another feature I really love is that I can adjust the size of the type. Yes, I should be wearing my reading glasses, but with the Kindle, I don't need them. This product is very easy to use. I LOVE IT!!
My wife's reviewDecember 4, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought the Kindle for my wife who is a bit technophobic to be kind. She won't venture near any of the three computers that we have in our house to surf the web or pick up her email. So when she saw the Kindle on Oprah and wanted me to buy it for her I was shocked. Since she started using it she can't stop talking about how much she loves it. She likes the way it reads and lays in her lap without fumbling to hold back, or turn paper pages of a book. She loves being able to download sample sections of books to see if she wants to buy them. What I love most about it is that I don't have those damn paper back books laying all over the house anymore. Woohoo!
