Customer Reviews:
Great speakers for the priceJune 25, 2008 I paid about $35 for this device -- for that price, this unit is a great value. It works well with both my iPod Nano and my iPod Touch. When plugged in to AC power, the unit charges the iPod while it's in the dock. An input jack on the back of the speaker allows you to connect a device other than an iPod. In fact, when I first bought this unit (August 2006 - and it's still going strong!) it was for use with a minidisc player; it worked just as well with that device as it does with the iPods. I've also used it with my laptop and an Edirol R09 recorder. The unit fits easily in my laptop case, making it great for travel. As you might expect in such a small speaker, the sound isn't exactly window-rattling. However, I frequently use this speaker out on my screen porch, and the sound is more than sufficient for a little background music.
my son is happy.September 18, 2006 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
so far so good, my sons plays them all the time both pluged in and portable, and he loves them.
This is terrific!August 21, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
We use this in our kitchen and to have a 'stereo' in our camper. It is just great. It is very easy to use (just plug it in and your ipod in the slot). It recharges my ipod also... so I don't have to keep hooking it up to the computer. The sound is really good for such a little set and is ideal for using in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom -- where you may want to have some music, but don't need the full monty. It comes with the AC cord (a nice feature) and multiple plugs that 'slide' onto the adapter -- so you can take it overseas and use it on AC.. it also runs on batteries.
