Sony's got a winner with this one. If you use your PS3 as a DVD/BluRay player, you'll appreciate the easy to navigate remote that makes navigating DVD menu screens much easier. It would be better with backlit buttons, but hey, it's only 20 bucks and it does everything exactly as advertised with a solid build quality to boot. This should really have been included in the box with the PS3. Excellent.

It's not only a Blueray remote. It will control movies that you stream over a network to your PS3, which is great. I like it a lot and would recommend buying one if you have a PS3.

This simple remote works well with the PS3. It has every option that you could need. I have used it for quite some time with no problems. I would highly recommend it if you watch movies on your PS3.
Turns the PS3 into a real blu-ray playerNovember 23, 2008 The remote is the one thing that we needed to make playing blu ray discs on our PS3 easy. Using the game controller worked but was an exercise in frustration. So - not a necessary item, but sure is convenient!
