Customer Reviews:
Does it's jobApril 21, 2008 This a decent speaker system for a small office, the sound is decent and the volume is dependent on the player itself so their's less fuss. However there is a distinctly poor design in a speaker that implys iPod friendliness. The my iPod nano doesn't align with the jack built into its alleged iPod Nano base, so I can't use it! It works fine overall (I'd advise investing in an adapter), but that was a real disappointment.
Nice, portable, good sound, eats batteriesJanuary 14, 2008 I bought two of these sets of speakers for my iPod, one for work and one for home. The key factor for me was the cost, and then the portability, and the speakers work quite well given those two factors. The only negative is that each speaker set requires 4 AAA batteries, and it goes through them FAST... a couple of weeks or so. I'm planning to get a charger and rechargeable batteries, just haven't had a chance yet. Oh, the speakers have a dock that it says fits all iPods, but my Classic is too wide for it. But I just plug the cord into the headphone jack and lay the iPod flat on the table, and it works fine.
Lacks features, but surprisingly good sound for priceNovember 26, 2007 I got this on Black Friday and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised with the sound provided by this extremely portable set of speakers. I just needed something to use when I'm alone at the office and doing after-hours work and I've come to find out these are perfect for such an application.
They fold up nicely if you need to transport them and even crank out decent volume and sound quality for such a small package. I actually own a $50 set at home that comes with a remote and a true docking capability but sounds far inferior to this set of speakers.
They really should have included an adapter, however, and there's no way to charge your ipod using this set as you can't actually "dock" it but actually only plug it in with a standard 1/8" plug through the included cord. But if battery life is good enough, this may not even be an issue.
nice for the price.November 9, 2007 This is a nice little set of speakers for under $20. They sound fairly nice for speakers as small as they are. I was just basically looking for something that is easily portable and easy to travel with. I think ive found it here.
