Just OK for the priceAugust 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this keyboard tray so I could get my keyboard off the top of the desk (naturally). Overall, it does the job just barely well enough for me to not have ripped it out and installed a different one.
Pros: - The mounting for the keyboard portion is reasonably solid - The mouse pad can be set for left- or right-handed use - It's an OK value for the money
Cons: - The installation is difficult and badly documented. You need to be somewhat handy in order to follow the picture-only instructions. There are a number of key details of the installation that are *NOT* documented, and you need to figure them out for yourself. - The keyboard tray is OK, but on the flimsy side. - The mouse extension is *very* weak. If, like me, you use an oversize keyboard that takes up the entire keyboard tray portion you are forced to use the mouse tray. I can feel the mouse tray bending under my hand with every use. Frankly, I'm scared to put the full weight of my hand and arm on it because I'm afraid it will snap off.
Overall, I'm sure that there are better choices out there, and I suggest you find one of them.
Love the keyboard trayMay 19, 2008 I love this tray. It is wonderful. I didn't think I would use the slide out mouse pad but I do and I love it as well. It is sooooo worth the money.
