Customer Reviews:
Works fineSeptember 7, 2008 My 4th Gen. iPod is a few years old and it completely stopped working (even plugged in). It's too old to be under warranty. Rather than spending an arm and a leg to have it professionally repaired, I bought this battery. The battery was fairly easy to install. It comes with a tool to crack open the case and unscrew a couple of screws inside. If you have trouble cracking open the case, just keep trying to get the tool in there. It'll work. I scratched the case a little, so just be careful. When removing your old battery, just make a note of which way the wires face for the new one. This is so much better than paying Apple to just replace a battery! And my iPod works perfectly now.
Disappointing battery lifeJune 19, 2008 I was really pleased about being able to replace my iPod's battery so easily, but after about ten months this battery started holding a charge for only a couple of hours use. I'm going to probably replace it with the same product but obviously I'm disappointed with my first experience with it.
Great Ipod Battery replacementAugust 19, 2007 Gought 2 to replace batteries in a 40 GB HP Ipod and a 40 GB Ipod Photo. Both units were starting to shut down a lot and not hold a charge for long. Since replacing with these batteries. More endless hours of Ipod enjoyment.
Works great - I'm on my 3rd batteryOctober 16, 2006 iPod battery replacements are getting a bad wrap, but this one shouldn't. Another brand recommends disconnecting the hard drive cable, this one doesn't. This cable cannot take the stress of the disconnect. Just follow Premium Power Products instructions, be careful and you'll be fine. Premium Power Products only recommends disconnecting the red and black power cable. This is OK.
My iPod 4G is on its 3rd battery counting the original Apple battery.

The 5.1 channel home-theater-in-a-box system features five tiny speakers - each about the size of a golf ball. The system, matched with a compact, single disc DVD/CD player/receiver, includes a unique subwoofer that helps the tiny speakers create sounds typically reserved for full size speakers.
While the system features small speakers, it packs all the power of conventional home theater-in-a-box systems with 450 watts of total system power (satellite speakers 50W x 5, plus 2-way subwoofer 100W x 2). The system is specially tuned to deliver a natural sound field that takes the focus off the subwoofer while supplementing mid range and lower frequencies.
