The kit is designed around a handy mounting cradle, which holds your receiver in a single easy-to-access location. Just slide your Sirius receiver into the cradle and rest it on a tabletop, desk, bookshelf, or entertainment center. Once the receiver is mounted, users have two listening options: they can rely on the receiver's built-in FM transmitter, or they can run the included RCA audio cable between the cradle's audio output and the stereo. The latter option delivers a better overall sound, but is slightly more cumbersome. The bundled antenna, meanwhile, is fully weatherproof, so you can install it indoors or outdoors depending on where the satellite signal is strongest. Finally, the kit comes with an AC adapter that powers your Sirius receiver and a spacer for the docking station (required for the non- Sportster models). I bought this for my husband for father's day and he like it. He likes having it hooked up listening to it while watching the race on tv. It wasn't that hard for him to install inside the house but the only down side is we have to remmeber to take the radio back to the truck when we go somewhere so we can have it to listen to whlie driving. Otherwise we like it alot.

All streaming audio is blocked in our office so I ordered this product hoping to provide some entertainment during the day. Now I couldn't live without it. Installation was so easy, there was almost nothing to it. I was a little worried about the antenna reception since I'm in a large cement building but I haven't had a problem at all. There's a jack in back you can hook up a stereo, speakers or headphones to so it's pretty versatile. I highly recommend this to anyone!
Great if your window are cleanJune 11, 2008 We have had good luck with this item, so far. The only down side is we were using it in our basement and had it pointed through the glass of the window, and the window exterior is dirty because it's spring here and the dirt from our non-landscaped yard keeps getting on the window. As soon as we opened the window the reception was great. We actually get reception in our garage and there is no window to point it out of. We would definitely recommended purchasing this item.

You May Need It or Maybe Not.April 27, 2008 Once the decision was made to buy Satelite radio for the car; my wife said she wanted something for the home. With this kit, we used everything once except for the docking station (I think it works with the Sportster models).
Unfortunately, my wife rarely removes the Sirius from the car to the house and secondly, I can listen to Sirius from the computer & blare it out loud when I'm cleaning up.
