Not a happy customerNovember 22, 2008 I had purchased this item perhaps a year ago now, and even though I edit video quite often, and have thought of many different applications where it might be useful, the PowerMate is just not responsive enough to perform when I need it. Aesthetically it is very clean and polished, and I think that's what caught my eye at the beginning. It is simply not worth it though. My suggestion is to try another, similar product.
simple and conciseNovember 17, 2008 if you want a simple devise that can do one to three simple easy things, this is perfect, it can also get get more complicated by allow it to do something unique in each application, or use several of them and assign different tasks.
Knob n ButtonOctober 28, 2008 Sometimes only a knob will do. This is a good one. Programmable, etc. Does what is advertises and it's hard to say more.
Awesome for my applicationSeptember 20, 2008 The griffin powermate is awesome. We use it for peaople to annonce their arrival for appointments. They highlight their name on our list and click to show their arrival.
Current driver does not work with Windows XPSeptember 12, 2008 I have installed the driver for this device on two windows XP workstation Dell computers, and the driver has a run-time error and crashes. I cannot recommend this product!
