We love this system!!!January 8, 2009 I ordered this system as a Christmas for my significant other. We had purchased a new tv and his old system didn't work well with the Sony Bravia LCD television we purchased. The system was very easy to connect. The wires are all color coded so that you can easily plug the wires into the system. Granted the rear speakers are not 100% wireless it is still great not to have wires running from the front of the room to the rear. These speakers plug into a unit at the back of the room which wirelessly receives from the main unit. The seperate speaker that can moved from location to location is also great. My SO just loves the quality of the sound from this system. We would recommend this system to anyone looking for a newer system. Yes, you can get better if you want to pay thousands of dollars for it but for the average home this is a great system.
Refurbished Sony Bravia Theater System - BlackJanuary 7, 2009 Product arrived faster then I expected and I ordered standard shipping, got to me way before Christmas which was good! The product is a refurbished surround / all in one home theater system. Price was great, product works great too. For the average family/viewers the set works great-
So A+ for the company that shipped it. The item was refurbished but I couldn't tell the different not a scratch and everything looked brand new!
The only thing I didn't really like about the set itself, is that the novice installer will need an optic cable to connect their cable box to the receiver to get surround sound from your cable/satellite box. It also does not come with any audio cables if you need extra of those.
Also, the theater system comes with an auto calibration microphone to automatically set the DB level of each speaker. Although this is "ok" at best, I recommend going into the settings yourself and setting the DB level by hand because each person's living area is different.
As far as the wireless system goes I've had no interference with my internet or cell phones etc. I don't have a home phone so I can't provide insight on that. The wireless system worked immediately and was a no brainer.
The speakers are all color coded so you know which cables go to which speakers.
Took my brother and I about 1-1.5 hours to install the entire system, most of the time spent unpacking all the items. All in all about 2 hours from start to finish. Not bad, considering we know absolutely nothing about setting up a home theater system :)
If you can get this system on sale I highly recommend it.

Great for the moneyJanuary 7, 2009 Great price, easy setup. I love the automatic sound balance, the iPod dock and the remote sound box. Sony does a great job and it came packed very well. Expect a BIG carton.
Sony BRAVIA Theater System (DAVHDX576WF) Great System For The PriceJanuary 6, 2009 I was looking for an inexpensive surround sound system for a 2nd TV. I picked this system up at a great price, and I have found it to be worth every penny. Set up was a snap, and the wireless system came on-line without any issues. Sound is much, much better than I expected for a sub $500 system, so I am quite pleased.
Note that I am using this system in a smaller room. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have the horsepower to light up a large room, but if I were looking for another system of this size, I'd buy the DAVHDX576WF without a second thought.
DisappointedJanuary 6, 2009 I bought this New home theater system 576WF with high expectations as I have gone through so many reviews and everyone rated it best. And I own Sony Bravia 46" so that my home theater system sync's with Television.
There is absolute bummer I got when I listen to the sound. Sound clarity is good but surrounds are terrible and weak. I never expected this kind of system from SONY. If we talking about home theater, genuinely we need good surround speakers to make a perfect home theater but here surrounds are wireless and I will rate them ZERO. Although Sony mentions that for the wireless surrounds there should not be any obstruction of signals like telephone, cell phone, internet...etc. but ideally it's not possible to avoid all those in hall to fit this home theater. And there is no custom equalizer, I hate this cause I would like to play with the music and experiment my own styles on it. I'm really disappointed and I returned the product.

1.Quality sound from Front speakers and subwoofer. 2.Good Look and feel. 3.Price.
Cons:
1.Poor Surround speakers. 2.Very Less sound output. 3.Assembling is a mind work, easily kills 2 hours of time. 4.Not many features like custom equalizer etc...
