Excellent for the price!January 8, 2009 I saw the reviews and everything indicated this was a good product for the price. Now that I've used it AND continued to do price comparisons, I can say this product really is excellent for the price. I haven't tried to fill it all the way yet, but the playback and quality of the movies and pictures has been wonderful thus far. Yes, I would recommend this product.
don't buyJanuary 7, 2009 The card worked for about 20 pictures then started giving errors to be formatted. I formatted to no avail. I called the company I bought it from who then referred me to Transcend directly. Contacting them directly is impossible!!! You get no response. My card is currently on it's way to Transcend and hopefully they will replace with one that works, although I will not use it for anything super important.
great customer serviceJanuary 7, 2009 I purchased 2 of the sdhc cards. However the camera they were purchased for didn't come it was out of stock (not from this company)so I purchased a different camera and these cards do not work with that model. The customer service is excellent. I returned them and they issued me a refund. I will purchase from this company in the future just because of the service they gave. Thanks!
Lots of storage...Low priceJanuary 6, 2009 I purchased 2 of these cards for a new camera I purchased as a gift for my wife. I have been amazed at the number of high res photos we can store on one of these card (about 4000). They are also fast enough for us to take HD 720 video with the camera (about 9 min.). They have been excellent.
Failed in less than 6 monthsJanuary 6, 2009 I was initially satisfied with the item, but it failed completely less than six months after purchase, with sporadic use. Since I'm outside the US, it's cheaper for me to buy a new card than to pay for the kind of shipping that would get the item to the manufacturer in the time limit set by them to return it after a request is opened with their customer support service.
