Should've bought a VizioDecember 2, 2008 Bought two of these for Christmas last year and within a few months the eject button broke off, a few months after that the power button came off. The picture quality is ok but not as good as Vizio, sound quality is poor. Second TV set is still in good shape because rarely used. You would be better off buying a Vizio.
Great TV for Kitchen! A swivel would have made it perfect.December 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this TV the day before Thanksgiving at a well known "club" store. I got it to replace a TV/VCR combo unit that took up too much counter space. This has a bigger screen than my old TV yet takes up only a fraction of the space. The picture is great and I'm sure that if I had digital cable service, it would be even better. The surfing is slow in that when you change the channel it takes a few seconds for it to kick in, so if you like to change channels quickly, you will be frustrated. I popped a DVD into it while I was preparing T-Day dinner and the picture was superb. The sound is fine...I didn't have to turn it way up to hear it as some other reviewers have said. The only thing I wish it had was some kind of swivel so I could turn the screen either toward the kitchen table when I'm eating or toward the work area, when I'm cooking. That would have made it perfect. All in all, I would recommend this TV.
Love this TVNovember 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this tv for my child to watch her disney movies so that my tv wasn't always in use when I wanted to use it. I didn't buy this at amazon but I wish I had when I saw the price. I paid $330+tax at sams club last week. I looked at all the tv's in the store in this size/price range and this one by far has the best picture. As someone else mentioned the only thing lacking is the sound. I was slightly disappointed when I noticed how dingy sounding the speakers were. But this was to be expected after hearing the much larger tv before.
In conclusion I would highly recommend this TV for its excellent picture quality and space saving design.
Nice television for a good price.November 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This television has a great picture and mounted easily in my kitchen. The only thing I was disappointed in is the volume is limited. Not that I need it blasting, but I would like it to be a bit louder. It is very easy to use and very nice looking.
compact and usefulNovember 22, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the second of this product we've purchased to use as secondary television/dvr in our bedroom in two different houses. They are compact, useful and inexpensive. The low volume doesn't matter in a bedroom, and we have the set close to the bed anyway because the set is not large. I watch a number of dvd's while my husband watches "the game" on the bigger set in the living room.
