Lasted less than two weeksJanuary 6, 2009 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter got this from my mother for Christmas, and not even two weeks later, the touch screen has completely stopped working. It looked good coming out of the box, but it's been downhill since then. The graphics on the startup and shutdown screens looks unprofessional. The game it came with got stuck, so we deleted it. You can't decide which song to listen to, it just plays them in the order you dragged and dropped them. I'm sure that if I got a replacement player, fiddled with it quite a bit and downloaded a bunch of software upgrades, I might be able to use this thing, but unless you have time on your hands to do all of this, I'd get something name brand. I just bought her an iPod touch, which is exponentially more expensive, but at least I'm sure it will work. I see that Samsung and Sylvania have similar products for not much more than this one goes for, so those might not be bad options.

Money well spentJanuary 2, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't have a lot of need for a music player, so I looked for an inexpensive one to serve my simple needs. I chose this one, which has vastly more features than I'll ever use--I need music only. Its memory easily handles my entire library, but I've only copied about 26 hours of music to it. The received unit had a defect that caused the display to go blank from time to time, and the seller replaced it with no hassles. The new unit is completely satisfactory. If you're a young person who couldn't survive without an IPod with its myriad features, perhaps you wouldn't find this unit acceptable, but for an older person who just wants a more modern version of my old Walkman, I couldn't be better pleased.
Suggested retail price is highly overratedJanuary 1, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was dissapointed that this product appeared cute but it was very poorly made. The outlet cord began to show wires after the 3rd day and the touchscreen performed poorly. The radio was acceptable. I would not recommend it to a friend.
