Got the first one batteries were dead. Put in new ones worked for 5 min. went dead. Sent it back for exchange (excellent service from amazon) second one came with dead batteries also. Put in new ones, worked but almost no gain on or off! I gave up on it!
Clear and loudJune 14, 2008 I have bought three of these and they work great. The make it possible for me to hear people in almost any situation. My hearing loss is moderate and I wear hearing aids.

The batteries, included, were old, almost expired and had to be replaced. The item didn't work at first; I didn't expect expired batteries, but when I replaced them it worked fine. And the service was very good; no problem there.

I bought a Walker Clarity Portable 25db High-Frequency Telephone amplifier a few years back for use on my telephone at work. I have moderate hearing loss and was having difficulty understanding what some people were saying when speaking to me on the telephone. The Walker Clarity device solved that problem extremely well. I recently purchased another one for use on my home telephone. This a product I can recommend. No one has paid me for this product endorsement.
