Ameriphone amplifier HA40December 16, 2008 This unit works great. My hearing is weak but some telephone incoming calls vary whereas they are unclear. This unit has the ability to adjust the volume that all calls are clear. This is a great product.
A good gadget but it didn't do the trick------------November 20, 2008 This is a good product. However, it isn't compatible with all telephones. It was returned because of this problem. The standard telephone, purchased at a RadioShack, was returned too and a new phone with integrated sound amplification was purchased there (at a much greater cost).
JunkNovember 18, 2008 The product didn't work, pure and simple, on my phone, installed exactly per the instructions. Lights up (so the battery's good) but there's no difference in the sound level.
Reasonable price with better sound.November 7, 2008 Price is reasonable. I can hear clearer voice with this one. This is a good product for those who are looking for economical device to control telephone voice in its volume and tone. I am happy with this one except the size (smaller is better).

This little device is inexpensive but very powerful. I ordered it for an agent of mine who is hard of hearing. He could not hear clients on the phone so he talked louder. This disturbed the entire staff. Now, peace has resumed thanks to my purchase. LG
